Delivering for your last-minutes gifts this holiday season

The challenge
We wanted to ensure that Shipt is the go-to for everything needed this holiday season from gathering groceries to seasonal goodies and gifts. How could we show them that Shipt could provide all of that with same-day delivery and a shopper who gets you?

The solution
I created a suite of holiday illustrations that lived on social, ads, digital OOH, landing pages, and direct mailers. I worked with our in-house creative team to bring this to life. We encouraged our audience to enjoy what matters most: making up for lost time and new memories for years to come while we give them time back so they can seize the season.

Strategy
For this campaign, we wanted to empower our members with control at a time in which control feels distant and to celebrate their imperfections. We tapped into a cheekier and human side of our brand voice that we haven’t used before, positioning us as the holiday helper.

 

Art direction
The art direction was playful, illustrative, and festive. It spoke to gifting and gathering that embodies warmth, heart, and a human touch. We focused on a design toolkit that could stand out from the holiday landscape but also leaned on our branded elements that make us unique. Our illustrations tied back to our popular categories and spoke directly with our payoff lines.

Our campaign goal was to raise brand awareness in local markets by 3-5%, which we exceeded by +35%.
